Of Note

The following images are from Delicious Words last month, an annual fundraiser hosted by Dianne Shullenberger in her gallery, to benefit Burlington's Committee on Temporary Shelter (COTS). 2017 marked the 20th year that Dianne has presented this wonderful salon-style event, with Rosalind Daniels as this year's highlighted visual artist. Dianne does a remarkable job of bringing outstanding local talent to this unique happening, so be sure to mark your calendars now so as not to miss out in 2018!

Surface Expressions Exhibit Highlighted on SDA Blog!

I don't usually post here other than the first of the month, but I think this news is worth sharing right away.

Installation shot of the Chaffee Art Center with Surface Expressions on display

Eve Jacobs-Carnahan recently submitted an an abridged version of her talk about the pieces in the 2016 Surface Expressions exhibit at the Chaffee Art Center to the SDA website. In highlighting the fact that our Vermont SDA Chapter had 3 exhibits last year, accomplished in part with support from an SDA Small Event Grant, the SDA blog featured her article and images from our exhibit in today's post as a means of bringing awareness to SDA's grant program. Thank you to Eve for bringing such wide exposure to our exhibit and exhibitors!
